Another four Louisiana high school football teams fell from the unbeaten ranks in Week 8.
Seventeen LHSAA teams remain undefeated with two weeks remaining in the regular season after Belle Chasse, Bunkie, Jeanerette and North Iberville suffered their first losses.
Class 4A now boasts the most remaining undefeated teams with five — Iowa, Loyola Prep, North DeSoto, Teurlings Catholic and Vandebilt Catholic — though at least one will fall in Week 9 as Loyola Prep visits North DeSoto.
The Flyers and Griffins’ date in Stonewall is one of two matchups Friday between unbeatens, as John Curtis hosts Edna Karr in a New Orleans Catholic League showdown.
Also notable, the Class 4A group spans three different postseason brackets.
Division-IV Select boasts the most remaining undefeated teams of any postseason grouping with four: Ascension Episcopal, Hamilton Christian, Ouachita Christian and Westminster Christian.

Each school is also listed with its record and list of opponents defeated within its details.
