Neil Weiner doubted just a few years ago whether he might ever win a state championship.

But his Dunham team, led by star quarterback Elijah Haven, never doubted Thursday, even with a slight stumble out the gate, and bounced back to control much of its Division-III Select title game against Calvary Baptist to claim the program’s first title since 2004.
