Louisiana (Lafayette) landed one of the state’s top remaining uncommitted prospects Monday, continuing a tradition of recruiting success with promising in-state running backs.
Holy Cross star Ke’Rynn Smith announced his commitment Tuesday to the Ragin’ Cajuns.
The 5-foot-9, 175-pound athlete is the No. 30 overall prospect and No. 2 running back in Louisiana vs. All Y’all’s 2026 class rankings, most recently updated prior to the season.
He follows a long lineage of standout Louisiana backs that recently includes Steven Blanco (St. Martinville), Elijah “Bill” Davis” (Riverside Academy) and Zylan Perry (Franklin) and Montrell Johnson (De La Salle).
