LHSAA releases 2026 boys basketball playoff brackets

Nearly 250 boys basketball teams around the state learned their paths Monday to this year’s Marsh Madness state tournament at McNeese State.

The LHSAA released its 10 playoff brackets: Divisions I, II, III and IV both Select and NonSelect as well as Classes B and C.

Zachary, John Curtis, Wossman, Madison Prep, Marksville, Calvary Baptist, Ferriday, Lincoln Prep, Anacoco and Gibsland-Coleman earned the No. 1 seeds in their respective tournaments.

But only three top seeds won titles in 2025, along with three No. 2 seeds, a No. 3 and three No. 4’s.
