Seven of Louisiana’s 11 Division-I football programs will open conference play this weekend — in most cases embracing the opportunities for clean slates after disappointing Week 4 performances.
Another two — LSU and Louisiana Tech at Ole Miss and UTEP, respectively — will try to carry solid early-season momentum on the road as they return to league action.
Here’s the rundown of who to watch, when, where and against whom as football in The Boot launches into the next phase of the season with conference schedules kicking off.
