LSU re-enters top 10 of AP, Coaches poll after South Carolina win

LSU returned to the top 10 in both major polls following its bounce-back win against South Carolina.

The Tigers (5-1, 2-1) nudged their way to No. 10 on both the latest AP and Coaches lists released Sunday entering their Week 8 trip to Vanderbilt (5-1, 1-1), which is now ranked No. 17 and No. 18, respectively.

Ohio State (6-0) and Miami (5-0) are No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, in both polls.

No. 3 Indiana (6-0) made the biggest leap, four spots on each list, within the top 25 after upsetting Oregon (5-1), while No. 20/21 USC led the teams entering the list this week.

No. 4 Texas A&M (6-0,  3-0) overtook No. 5 Ole Miss (6-0, 3-0) on both lists as the highest-ranked of five SEC teams in the top 10 and 10 in the top 20.

The Coaches and AP dropped Oklahoma (5-1, 1-1) seven spots to No. 13 and eight spots to No. 14, respectively.
