High-flying, high-scoring affairs were back to filling the schedule in Week 5.
On the heels of this season’s lowest number “shootouts” thus far in Week 4, offenses around Louisiana bounced back to match Week 3 for the highest total with 14.
And plenty of great defenses were once again in full effect with more than 20 shutouts around the state as well.
Louisiana vs. All Y’all began this season compiling weekly “Shootouts & Shutouts” lists of games featuring at least 70 combined points with final margins within single digits or those in which the winning team held its opponent scoreless.
The lists are compiled from all games the scores for which have been officially submitted to the LHSAA. But feel free to let us know if you have another score that should be included, but has yet to be submitted.
