Week 6 of Louisiana’s high school football season provided some memorable battles, but also some of the most lopsided contests to date.
Twenty-eight shutouts matched Week 4 for the most in any given week, and Bonnabel’s 67-0 roll past East Jefferson marked the third-largest shutout victory of the season.
Louisiana vs. All Y’all began this season compiling weekly “Shootouts & Shutouts” lists of games featuring at least 70 combined points with final margins within single digits or those in which the winning team held its opponent scoreless.
Some of the state’s top Class 2A and Class 1A teams headlined this week’s shootouts with Mangham beating Ferriday, 56-48, and North Iberville edging St. John, 50-44.
The lists are compiled from all games the scores for which have been officially submitted to the LHSAA. But feel free to let us know if you have another score that should be included, but has yet to be submitted.
