The full run of Week 5 games is already in the books, including several outcomes that will shake up the Class 5A and Class 4A rankings in particular.
For just the second time this season, no No. 1 team in any classification stumbled. But the week was far from drama-free smooth-sailing for highly ranked programs in the latest LSWA statewide polls.
Four of the top six Class 5A teams and half of the classification’s top 10 suffered losses Friday, along with four of the top seven Class 4A teams falling Thursday and Friday.
