The final night of Louisiana high school football at school sites around the state did not disappoint.

Sixteen teams survived semifinal matchups and a cold, damp Friday night to punch their tickets to next week’s three-day Prep Classic state championship event in Caesars Superdome.

Among more than half a dozen thrillers: Two games took overtime to decide (St. Charles Catholic and Calvary Baptist advancing), another ended on a walk-off touchdown (St. Augustine) and another on a failed hail mary (Dunham).

Two teams will make their first-ever title-game appearances (Iowa and Jena), and two others ended decades-long droughts (Ouachita Parish and St. Augustine).

Here’s the rundown of all 16 semifinal scores around the state.
