Louisiana’s regular season wrapped up this weekend with a long list of notable outcomes.
From high-profile, district-winning and message-sending “statement wins to back-and-forth shooutouts, lopsided shutouts and the highest-scoring performance by a team all season, Week 10 checked plenty of boxes.
Louisiana vs. All Y’all launched its new “Shootouts & Shutouts” feature this season, and this past weekend provided solid lists of each category.
Six “shootouts” of at least 70 combined points with a single-digit final margin — topped by Live Oak’s 56-53 stunning of Dutchtown — was a nice bounce-back from few such outcomes in Week 9 and tied for the fourth-most in a week this season.
St. James’ 63-0 roll past Berwick meanwhile led 27 “shutouts” and tied for the ninth most-lopsided victory of the season.
Additionally, Beekman Charter racked up an eye-popping 86 points — the most by any team thus far this season — in an 86-58 defeat of Madison Parish — a score that doesn’t fit either “Shootouts & Shutouts” category distinctions, but obviously warrants note.
