Eleven LHSAA football teams wrapped up undefeated regular seasons this weekend.
Louisiana’s still-perfect group includes 10 teams that will now carry that momentum into six of the state’s eight playoff brackets scheduled to be finalized Sunday — plus another still in its ramp-up process as a new LHSAA member.
The number of remaining unbeatens took a notable hit in Week 10 with four first losses marking a 26.7% drop-off — the largest since 12 teams (35.3%) suffered their first losses in Week 6.
Edna Karr headlines the undefeated group with a state-best 23-game winning streak after last season’s perfect state-championship run.
The Cougars are the lone Class 5A team in Louisiana to have not suffered a loss this season and will lead the Division-I Select bracket as the No. 1 seed.
The Division-I Non-Select and Division-II Select fields will not include any undefeated teams following Week 10 losses by Parkway to Evangel Christian and Vandebilt Catholic to E.D. White.
Meanwhile, a pair of Division-IV Select contenders in Ouachita Christian and Ascension Episcopal fell to Oak Grove and Lafayette Renaissance Charter, respectively.

The map showed schools listed by their classification based on enrollment, with red denoting Class 5A, orange denoting Class 4A, green denoting Class 3A, blue denoting Class 2A and purple denoting Class 1A — and labeled with their respective postseason divisions, including squares denoting non-select schools and diamonds denoting select schools.
Each school is also listed with its record and list of opponents defeated within its details.
