Louisiana Vs All Y’all (“we,” “our,” “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our website (louisianavsallyall.com) and interact with our services.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information when you use our website:

  • Personal Information (if provided): Name, email address, and contact details (e.g., when subscribing to our newsletter or submitting a score).

  • Non-Personal Information: Browser type, device type, IP address, pages visited, time spent on site, and cookies (to improve site performance).

  • User-Generated Content: Any information you submit (scores, comments, messages, etc.).

  • Approximate Location: the general city your internet connection appears to come from (for example, “Shreveport”), as reported by our website host. We do not use GPS, we do not ask your device for its location, and we do not store your IP address for this.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve our website content and services

  • Communicate with you (e.g., newsletters, updates, or responses to inquiries)

  • Monitor website performance and enhance user experience

  • Ensure compliance with legal obligations

3. Free Accounts

Creating an account on Louisiana Vs All Y’all is free and optional — you can use the site as a guest without one. If you register, we collect:

  • Username, email address and password. Your password is stored in scrambled (hashed) form; nobody can read it, including us.
  • Display name — the name shown to you on the site (for example, “Hi, BoSox36”).
  • Your saved settings — such as teams, game picks and Power Board scenarios — so they follow you to any device.

We use this information only to run your account: signing you in, saving your settings, and sending account emails such as password resets. We don’t sell or rent your account information, and registering does not sign you up for marketing emails. Account information is stored with our website host, WordPress.com.

You can delete your account and saved settings at any time from your My Account page. If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address and a Google account ID, used to identify your account.

Activity on your account. While you are signed in, we keep track of your activity on the site: which pages you visit, how much time you spend, the days you visit, the badges you earn, whether you are on the site right now, and your approximate city. We use this to award badges and show your stats on your My Account page, and so LVAY site administrators can manage the community (for example, seeing who is online and stopping spam or abuse). Only LVAY site administrators can see another member’s activity and approximate city. It is never shown publicly, never sold and never shared with advertisers. If you’re not signed in, none of this is tied to you.

Private messages. Signed-in members can send private messages to each other on the Messages page. Messages are stored with our website host so they can be shown to both people in the conversation. To keep the community safe, LVAY site administrators can read any private conversation, and especially review conversations that are reported. Members can block or report anyone. Please don’t share passwords, addresses, phone numbers or other sensitive information in messages.

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to personalize your experience, analyze traffic, and provide relevant ads. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some site features may not function properly.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service Providers (e.g., analytics tools, hosting providers) to help us operate the site

  • Legal Requirements if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property
