The 2025 NCAA football season is underway — ish (Week 0) — and programs and fan bases from coast-to-coast are buzzing with optimism for the months ahead and their potential to make this year’s College Football Playoff.
For the second year in its new format, the field will feature 12 teams.
And for the second year since the launch of the show, Louisiana vs. All Y’all’s “PODnas” held its preseason College Football Playoff draft with co-hosts Jerit Roser and Daniel Hawkes trying to predict the field in their own competitive, gamified format.
Also, as a relevant semi-spoiler: Two Louisiana programs came off the draft board for the second straight year as well.

The “PODnas” draft involves Jerit and Daniel each selecting 10 teams — eight Power-Four conference members or Notre Dame, and two non-Power conference — in a snake-draft format.
At the end of the season, the hosts earn a point for each correct Power conference team drafted and two points for a non-Power conference team, plus an additional bonus point for each team to earn a first-round bye in the bracket.
Additionally, the hosts can call out one or two “Hater-Aid” picks in which they bet against a team the other drafted. A correct “Hater-Aid” pick earns another point, while an incorrect “Hater-Aid” loses one.
The “PODnas” correctly selected 11 of the 12 CFP teams in 2024, missing only Arizona State. And Jerit won the inaugural competition.
Can they do as well this year? Better?
Will Jerit win again, or will Daniel even the score?
