A third Edna Karr senior in the past two weeks has updated his college plans.
Left tackle Leon Noil Jr. announced Wednesday morning a new commitment to Mississippi State after previous pledge to Nebraska.
The 6-5, 275-pound blocker, projected to potentially slide inside at the next level, is the No. 34 overall prospect and No. 5 offensive lineman in Louisiana vs. All Y’all’s 2026 class rankings most recently updated prior to the season.
He joins running back Tre Garrison and quarterback John Johnson — now both heading to Washington State after prior plans for Nicholls State and Liberty, respectively — as some of the early headliners of late “Flip Season” in the final weeks leading into December’s early signing period.
