Louisiana’s FBS and SWAC programs are back in action this weekend after opening October on byes.
In fact, Louisiana Tech and Tulane will help kick off the national Week 7 slate with Thursday night games, the Bulldogs on the road and Green Wave right back home in uptown New Orleans.
Northwestern State is the lone Southland Conference team playing this weekend, joining ULM as the state’s only programs with games on each of the two bye-lightened weeks to start the new month.
But only Tulane, Grambling State and LSU are playing in-state of the eight matchups on the schedule.
