Several more Louisiana natives and college players have earned their first professional opportunities since the 2026 NFL Draft closed Saturday evening.

More than a dozen from The Boot have reportedly signed deals as undrafted rookie free agents, and at least a few others have received invites to rookie mini-camps.

UDFA deals are standard, three-year contracts on league-minimum salaries and a guaranteed spot on the 90-man roster to begin training camp later in the summer, while mini-camp invites represent a tryout opportunity in May for a player to earn their way into a more solidified spot.
