LSU adds one-time Miami WR commit Ah’Mari Stevens to 2027 class

Peyton “Pop” Houston has his first weapon in LSU’s 2027 commitment class, and the target is one of the nation’s best.

Four-star wide receiver Ah’Mari Stevens, from Chaminade-Madonna Prep (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) committed Friday to the Tigers, flipping from a prior pledge to hometown Miami.

The 5-foot-10, 165-pound athlete is the nation’s No. 39 wide receiver and No. 275 prospect overall, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings which combine the Rivals, 247 and ESPN list for a weighted average.

Stevens visited Baton Rouge this week and had been reported as trending to coach Lane Kiffin, offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr., wide receivers coach George McDonald and company on the new-look offensive staff now in place there.

And Friday he publicly shared his change of college plans with an announcement with On3 | Rivals.

Stevens joins Houston, the star Evangel Christian quarterback, and four-star Irmo, S.C., edge rusher Jaiden “Boog” Bryant as the first members of a 2027 for the Tigers that is expected to continue to adding notable pieces in the near future.
