LSU may have added the finishing piece to its 2026 running back rotation Tuesday with another Power-Four transfer.
Wisconsin starter Dilin Jones, a former blue-chip prospect, committed to joining the backfield in Baton Rouge, On3 first reported.
The Tigers entered the transfer-portal window Jan. 2 with only rising sophomore star Harlem Berry seemingly in the equation at the position to start the new year.

Coach Lane Kiffin, offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr., running backs coach Kevin Smith and company managed to land a pair of Division-I transfers early last week in Utah’s Raycine Guillory and Charlotte’s Rod Gainey Jr.
And, now, Jones only further bolsters the group with notable experience already under his belt, but also three years of eligibility remaining.
The 6-foot, 208-pound athlete started the first seven games of this season for Wisconsin before suffering a turf-toe injury in October that ultimately ended his season and required surgery.
He carried 76 times for 300 yards and two touchdowns and caught nine passes for 21 yards prior to his early exit from the Badgers’ loss to Ohio State.
LSU has now added transfers each of the past 10 days and, particularly after signing quarterbacks Sam Leavitt (Arizona State) and Landen Clark (Elon) and retaining Durham and center Braelin Moore, appear to be putting some of the finishing touches on its 2026 roster.
The Tigers’ incoming transfer class now sits at 29 players with a third quarterback and further offensive line help seemingly at the top of the remaining wish list.
