The home stretch of Louisiana’s high school football season continues to feature some of the most lopsided outcomes yet.
Twenty-eight teams recorded shutouts in Week 9 — matching the highest total thus far this season — including Oak Grove’s 69-0 roll past Madison Parish highlighting four shutout wins of 60-plus points.
Meanwhile, only two games — the fewest to date — met Louisiana vs. All Y’all’s “shootout” criteria of 70-plus combined points and a single-digit margin.
LVAY began this season compiling weekly “Shootouts & Shutouts” lists of games featuring at least 70 combined points with final margins within single digits or those in which the winning team held its opponent scoreless.
The lists are compiled from all games the scores for which have been officially submitted to the LHSAA. But feel free to let us know if you have another score that should be included, but has yet to be submitted.
