Louisiana’s boys’ and girls’ basketball seasons alike ended with thrilling bangs of matchups and memorable performances in Lake Charles and Hammond.

Nearly a month of awards recognitions have followed, and the honors continue to roll.

Louisiana vs. All Y’all is excited to introduce its inaugural All-Louisiana vs. All Y’all basketball teams highlighting dozens of the state’s top young athletes.

As with the All-Louisiana vs. All Y’all football teams, these accolades will feature separate large schools (5A and 4A) and small schools (3A, 2A and 1A) teams.

Each team will feature five first-team, five second-team and 10 honorable-mention selections.

Twice as many athletes could easily have been selected from a tremendous field of candidates around The Boot, with several particularly difficult cuts from each list.

But, as mentioned previously with football, we have decided to limit the selection process to maintain the elite nature of these rosters, even as challenging as that restriction can be in talent-rich Louisiana.

Check out the girls’ large school team below, and continue to follow throughout the next week for all of the teams and stories on superlative award winners.
