Thanksgiving week provided plenty of reasons for Louisiana high school football fans to grateful.
Thirty-two teams still surviving and advancing into December can be particularly thankful for another week or two of the season, and this past weekend’s quarterfinals provided plenty of thrilling games and memorable performances.
As always at the fast-moving playoff time of year, Louisiana vs. All Y’all and Louisiana Football Report are excited to partner for weekly shows recapping all the biggest takeaways from the previous round and outlook heading into the next round.
Founders Jerit Roser and Chance Hester had plenty of ground to cover again this week with plenty of notable storylines to touch on following the quarterfinals and some tremendous semifinal matchups now on deck for this Friday.
All eight No. 1 seeds and six No. 2 seeds have advanced to continue tremendous and largely consistent runs through this season — including five still-undefeated teams.
And while the biggest Cinderella of the first two weeks of postseason fell, three double-digit seeds pressed forward into the semis.
