The fast-and-furious path to Louisiana’s volleyball state championships in Lafayette are now set.
The LHSAA released its 2026 playoff brackets Monday afternoon, laying out the schedule for the five-round, two-week tournaments in the sport’s five divisions.

St. Thomas More and Country Day have aims set on continuing dominant runs that include five straight and 10 straight state championships, respectively.
Of note in those quests is the Cajuns now participating in Division IV after most recently winning Division V.
Mount Carmel and Westminster Christian are seeking their first state titles since 2019 and 2011, respectively.
University Lab is still seeking its first, though has a long track record of overall success and deep playoff runs that includes back-to-back quarterfinals runs and a most-recent title-game appearance in 2018.

Last year’s other champions — Slidell in Division I, Parkview Baptist in Division III and Isidore Newman in Division IV — are seeded No. 10, No. 7 and No. 4, respectively, in those divisions this year.
First-round games will be played Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday on the home courts of the higher-seeded schools, followed by second-round games Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The eight teams in each division to advance to the quarterfinals will then move to the Cajundome at Louisiana (Lafayette) for the final three rounds of action next week.
