The good, bad, ugly of CFB Week 3, plus Saints, HS Top Plays | PODnas

Garrett Nussmeier and the LSU offense looked more like themselves, and northeast Louisiana’s trio of college programs all notched big early-season wins.

Still, college football’s Week 4 action — not to mention the New Orleans Saints on Sunday (seriously, do we have to mention that?) — carried enough frustration to spark the organic birth of a potential new “Football Therapist” segment.

Louisiana vs. All Y’all’s “PODnas,” Jerit Roser and Daniel Hawkes recapped and unpacked all the good, the bad and the ugly of the weekend’s performances in the latest episode of the show.

From the Tigers’ progress and wins for Louisiana Tech, ULM and Grambling State, to brutal Saturdays for Louisiana (Lafayette), Tulane and the Southland and, sadly, yes, the Saints’ road trip to Seattle that got off the rails with the quickness.

And, of course, the ever-consistent early-week highlight: Four candidates for “PODnas” High School Play of the Week.

Featured in this week’s top plays: Holy Cross senior running back Ke’Rynn Smith, Calvary Baptist junior defensive back Braylun Huglon, Ouachita Parish senior athlete Wydell Clark Jr. and Alexandria junior quarterback Karsen Sellers and sophomore running back Kason Williams.

Make sure to keep up with all the new episodes of “PODnas” or catch up on other video content on the Louisiana vs. All Y’all channel.

“PODnas” episodes are scheduled for Tuesday and Friday mornings during football season to recap and preview the biggest games and storylines with a particular focus on Louisiana.
