It’s finally time to transition into season mode after a summer hot and heavy with commitments and other recruiting action.

On the latest episode of Louisiana vs. All Y’all’s “Recruit Dat Boot,” Jerit Roser and Sam Spiegelman share some final thoughts on another high-profile out-of-state LSU target making a commitment this week.

The Tigers have remained heavily in the mix for highly ranked Richmond, Va., offensive lineman Darius Gray thought his recruiting process, along with South Carolina, Tennessee, Clemson and Ohio State, but do not appear to be the favorite entering a Friday evening announcement.

So Jerit and Sam took the opportunity to focus this week primarily on some talented in-state standouts with some of Louisiana’s more pivotal or interesting seasons to monitor this fall.

So there’s plenty to unpack.

And, with LSU, USC and Tulane commits and Louisiana’s highest-ranked uncommitted senior all featured, there are also a lot of bases covered for college fans interested in hearing more about their future prospects.
