Southeastern Louisiana will kick off the state’s Thanksgiving weekend slate with a noon kickoff Saturday to its FCS home playoff matchup against Illinois State.
And the annual Bayou Classic between in-state SWAC rivals Grambling State and Southern provides another SWAC headliner.
Louisiana (Lafayette) needs one more win to secure bowl eligibility, and ULM will visit its in-state Sun Belt rival with hops of playing spoiler.
Louisiana Tech and LSU will try to finish the regular season on positive notes and improve their respective standings in the bowl pecking order.
And Tulane will provide a night-cap in which victory is critical to maintain the Green Wave’s ongoing pursuits of an American Athletic Conference championship and a College Football Playoff berth.
