The loaded Week 5 schedule did not disappoint, as knock-down, drag-out battles and chaotic thrillers filled Louisiana’s high school football fields the past two nights.
But the majority of top teams managed to handle their business in some form or another from dominant showing to surviving scares.

Only seven top-five and 13 top-10 programs across all five classifications lost, with most coming to higher-ranked or higher-classification opponents.
