A largely tough Week 8 for Louisiana’s college football programs has already spilled into Week 9 with Louisiana Tech’s 28-27 overtime loss to Western Kentucky on Tuesday.
Nine of the state’s other teams will be in action Saturday, including No. 20 LSU hosting a top-20 SEC home game against No. 3 Texas A&M and a Southland Conference showdown between McNeese State and Nicholls State in Hammond.
Only Tulane is idle this weekend ahead of a Thursday, Oct. 30, trip to UTSA.
Grambling State, McNeese State and Southeastern Louisiana will aim to build on Week 8 success — and a three-game winning streak for Southeastern — while LSU, Louisiana (Lafayette), ULM, Nicholls State, Northwestern State and Southern — in interim coach Fred McNair’s debut — will try to rebound from losses.
Here’s the rundown of who to watch, when, where and against whom.
